That’s perfect! While many athletes have done shoots before, most have not. You’ve already done your job – the hard work in the gym.
My job is to guide you in order to best capture that hard work!
Don’t tell your posing coach I said this (Please!), but during your photo session you get to put stage posing out of your mind. There is nothing for you to remember for your session. I’ve got you covered!
Certainly!
A friend can be helpful support or if you are female assist with things like that stray strand of hair and wardrobe.
Friends may also walk away with more knowledge about photo shoots as they are sometimes asked to help move props or lighting.
While we will all likely be friends by the end of the session, guests are expected to be courteous during shooting time.
This is different based on the goals of each athlete. During our consultation I will ask about your planned uses for your photos (Are these just for you, your Instagram, your website, a business project, etc?). We will discuss wardrobe based on these needs during our initial consultation or prior to your shoot date.
Absolutely not! As your stage body is almost always NOT your every day look every day of the year, I believe that every step in your fitness journey should be celebrated and documented. If there is a concern about a part of your physique, discuss with your photographer as there are numerous options in posing, wardrobe or style of shoot to emphasize or de-emphasize concerns.
The combination of today’s cameras and photography lighting is a tough match for every day makeup.
A professional makeup artist is experienced with the looks required for the competition stage, a photo shoot and every day looks.

In addition to color corrections, this may include retouching of temporary skin blemishes, smoothing of clothing or hair, removal of distractions in images, enhancing existing highlights and shadows.
Regarding body scars or other permanent markings, there are varying opinions on how or if these should be addressed and I am respectful of your wishes or opinion in this area. If you have a specific concerns, feel free to bring them to my attention at any time before or prior to your session.

If you haven’t noticed yet, I love travel! Travel dates are usually current in my Instagram posts, but if there is a destination in the U.S. or internationally that you would like to book a shoot, let’s talk about it. There are multiple ways to make it happen! A goal of mine is to travel to all 7 continents and do photoshoots on each!
Most destinations involve travel, requiring planning. Airfare can be more expensive when booked less than 21 days prior to travel and appropriate locations for photography may be more difficult to obtain. Having your shoot fully booked before this time makes planning easier and the focus can be solely on your session!
The easiest way for extra edits is to be a member of my email list (Click here to join!). Email is awesome because it is not subject to a social media algorithm, so you will not miss any travel updates or other important information. Your inbox will not be blasted by me constantly and you can always update your preferences at the bottom of each message. If you’d like to go above and beyond for extra edits, I am also a sucker for homemade chocolate chip cookies and brownies! Whichever way you choose, I appreciate you!
Of course not! If the needs for your brand or business requires something beyond the packages on my website, let’s discuss! If you have a regular need for photo or video content, ask about 3 month, 6 month or 12 month solutions.
